route from Agra Cantonment Railway Station which is situated in the
south-west corner of the city. The main market of Agra, Kinari Bazaar and
the Agra Fort are located to its north-east while the famous Taj Mahal is
situated at a short distance of 1.5 km from the fort. Taj Ganj, a city that
was once inhabited by the artisans and craftsmen who labored for years to
build the marble magnificent, Taj Mahal, is located to the south of the
monument.
