Old Delhi

Walking down its steps, one leads into the abundant market place known as
Chandni Chowk famous for brocades, braids, silver, manuscripts etc. Going
for a rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk gives a
unique experience and pleasure. Raj Ghat, another worth visiting spot where
the Father of Nation, Mahatma Ghandi was cremated.
New Delhi
Delhi comprises of the state Government buildings designed by Lutyens,
Rajpath, that leads up to the war memorial the India gate and the impressive
presidential palace - the Rashtrapati Bhawan - constructed on Raisina hill
and haunches by the secretariat buildings. New Delhi is surrounded by
landscaped parks, formal gardens, and old monuments like mausoleum of
Humayun, the Old Fort once the primeval Muslim City of India 15 kms from
Rashtrapati Bhawan. Another captivating sight of New Delhi is dominated by
the Qutab Minar a tower minaret and an amazing 2000 years old pure iron
pillar erected in 4 AD which has never rusted.
Birla Mandir : commonly known, as Lakshmi
Narayan Temple is a famous Hindu pilgrimage. Located in the heart of New Delhi
the temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. People of all
religion and faiths can worship in the temple. The temple incorporates
numerous images and idols depicting several gods and goddess of Indian
mythology.
Lotus Temple : Lotus Temple also known as Bahai Temple,
is an absorbing structure built in marble, cement, and sand. The temple is
given a beautiful shape of a half-open lotus. Lotus temple an architectural
paradigm of the Bahai faith is open to all religions and faiths and is an
ultimate spot for meditation and acquiring tolerance and peace.

Musical Fountain at Ajmal Khan Park : Musical fountain
organized by Delhi Tourism at Ajmal Khan Park is spread over an area of five
acres and provides a exhilarating getaway from the commotion of the city.
The musical fountain synchronized with enchanting light is operated for two
hours every day after sunset except on Tuesday.
Dilli Haat : Cultural programs are organized at the
Dilli Haat. Puppet shows and kite-flying demonstrations held at the Haat are
a unique experience in itself. Even international troupes perform in the
complex.
