Jagmandir Palace Udaipur was initiated by Maharaja Karan Singh in 1620 but it was extended by Maharaja Jagat Singh and so it has been named after him. However, the two monuments are poles apart in terms of architecture. The travelers are delighted to see the serene palace amidst lake Pichola where they actually enjoy boat cruise to reach it. The breathtaking view of the impeccable valley enveloped in hills make the cruise all the more exciting. In the middle of the lake the palace stands superbly offering a stunning view to the joyous beholders. The place has been now become a venue for organizing piano concerts and other joyful occasions including wedding.
